Get to know Ally.
Ally is a theatre artist and educator based in Tampa, Florida. She has worked professionally as an actor, teaching artist, and stage manager with theaters in Florida and across the country. Favorite performance credits include THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE (Spanish Lyric Theatre), THE CHILDREN’S HOUR (Tampa Rep), LES MISÉRABLES (The Ritz), SISTER ACT, and THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME (Eight O’ Clock Theatre).
Ally is currently a teaching artist at American Stage Theatre Company in St. Petersburg Florida, after a season as the Education & Outreach Apprentice and working in various capacities on their annual School Tour production. She was an Actor/Tour Manager for GEORGE’S MARVELLOUS MEDICINE ('16) and RIKKI TIKKI TAVI ('17), and Costume Designer for WINNIE THE POOH ('18). School Tour is the American Stage’s longest-running and widest-reaching program, seen by thousands of students across the Bay Area each year.
In addition to performance and education, Ally has also worked with non-profit arts organizations in the areas of administration, marketing, and development. She holds a BA in theatre from Samford University, and will earn a graduate Certificate in New Play Performance from Hollins University in 2019. This fall, she's excited to begin the interdisciplinary MFA in Theatre program at Sarah Lawrence College!
