TEACHING

As an educator, Ally teaches, facilitates, and directs various drama programs at theatres, schools and other community organizations, with lesson plans adhering to state standards for drama, where applicable. She fosters community in the classroom by focusing on collaboration and ensemble building.

A safe learning environment is a must for students to trust one’s instincts and honor choices of their peers. Ally promotes inclusion (especially among students with neurodiversities), meeting the needs and learning styles of each individual.

Ally has worked as a teaching artist with the following arts organizations:

Florida Repertory Theatre (Ft. Myers, FL)

American Stage Theatre Company (St. Petersburg, FL)

The Graham School (Yonkers, NY)

Sarah Lawrence College Civic Engagement (Bronxville, NY)

Central Park Performing Arts Center (Largo, FL)

Act Up! Theatre (Tampa, FL)
